Experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator
Home Legal Services is looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper / administrator for a rapidly expanding business.The role will be fulltime, based in our West Kirby office.
Duties will include:
- Using two systems, the role will be involved in maintaining two systems; an internal system and sage accounts through daily imports.
- Monitoring fees paid, allocating fees and releasing referral fees for payments to suppliers on a self-billing system.
- Matching suppliers against fees earned and raising self-billing purchase invoices, preparing weekly payment runs.
- Resolving queries and building good client relationships is a key part of the job.
- Maintaining sales ledger, purchase ledgers and cashbooks, and assisting with credit control.
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff and customers across the different areas of the business.
The candidate will need to have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently.
Ideally will have a good working knowledge of sage/ excel/ word and be confident with IT to use an in-house system and other accounts packages as required.
A key role will be to ensure referrers are paid in a timely manner based on accurate information, this will require a strong eye for detail and an organised approach.
